On March 24, George Bush refused to lower the White House flag to half mast in memory of the 4000 US soldiers who have died in Iraq. In the evening, Iraq Veterans Against the War protested both this, the refusal of Bush to attend GI funerals, and the war itself in Lafayette Park.
