Bloomberg would have budgeted the same amount even if no one protested the convention. Junior's occupation of Iraq guaranteed it.
I'll stack the eight million wasted in NY against the eighty billion (eighty thousand million) wasted in Iraq any day. This is what the protests were all about to begin with: the wasted lives and redirected taxpayers' wealth which any other politician might have used to mitigate the misery of the people you despise.
Get a life, and get off the site.
