This is very interesting. I too assumed the body armour made the famous bulges in the presidential jacket. But, being very familiar with body armour, I can find no model that would make the particular impressions we see on the Bush clothing.

The image shown, of the wearable defibrillator corresponds whith the specific bulges in question.

It makes a lot more sense than most of the theories I've heard, except the body armour explaination. I've already mentioned the problems with that explanation, re the shape.
