Interesting! A doctor friend of mine, an anesthesiologist, suggests that AF is the incorrect diagnosis. He says that tachy-brady syndrome would be a better fit. AF can be controlled pretty well with drugs and you wouldn't need a defibrilator either. My friend suggests that tachy-brady sysndrome is far more serious: patients suffering from this require implantable devices, ICDs, to rescue them from the bradycardic episodes. Might this be the January suprize?! What's Cheney's diagnosis?
