Re: Activists Protest Hyatt's Hosting of White Power Conference

To: "I will continue to group together all racist groups - including these white supremesists and the NAACP. When you distinguish one person from another based on the color of their skin, you are practicing racism. For some reason, the protesting community goes nuts over a whites only group, but pays no mind to meetings filled with racist filth by blacks only groups. If its about standing up for morality and principle, you should be doind it all the time, not just on fronts where it is politically correct. Why should this hotel filter its bookings through your half-assed political agenda? Please explain why you find it acceptable for some people to organize themselves and exclude others based on skin color, but find this same behavior bigoted in other cases. If there is some perspective for me to gain here, please furnish some." You simply expose your racism and ignorance. You continue to equate white racsists with the NAACP. The NAACP is not a racsist group. You, if you are white or any other race or religion, can join it. In fact I urge you to join it. You might learn something. Furthermore, the NAACP was founded by a multi-ethnic group of people including Jews. Do you have anything to say about Jews? Try learning about more about what you are talking about before you open your mouth about the NAACP.

Re: Re: Activists Protest Hyatt's Hosting of White Power Conference

True, a white person could join the NAACP, but that wasn't nearly my point. A black person could have attanded this conferece if they agreed with all of the rhetoric. The NAACP recognizes and perpetuates racial division - by that I mean the grouping of people based on the color of their skin, and treating the differently colored groups differently. This is racism - there is no simpler definition. How is it wrong when white people do it but not wrong when black people do it? I know you can repeat the same old spin, but do you think about what you're saying?

Re: Re: Re: Activists Protest Hyatt's Hosting of White Power Conference

Why would a black person go to a racist conference organized by groups who deny the holocaust, want all people of color deported, support violence against black people, believe blacks are inferior? You keep on equating the NAACP with the these hatemongers and racists. You can't equate the message of the KKK with the NAACP. You keep doing this. This really says a lot about you. Do you really believe the KKK is the mirror image of the the NAACP? That is truly sick! You obviously don't understand the mission of the NAACP. How is their message the same as the KKK? Please explain.

Re: Re: Re: Re: Activists Protest Hyatt's Hosting of White Power Conference

Both the KKK and the NAACP beleive that they can make broad generalizations about a population of people they've never met based on the color of their skin. The KKK might use their generalization to try to keep the black ones down while keeping the white ones up, and the NAACP might try to advantage the black ones while ignoring the white ones altogether. The intent and severity are very different, but all are practicing racism. It doesn't matter the mission or the message, they are both contructing division based on race. They perpetuate the idea that you are different from me because our skin is not the same shade. This is racism - this is wrong.
