the biggest memory i have in Philadelphia history May 13, 1985 police had a 90 minute shootout with the MOVE radical group on Osage Ave with in the beginning no result so Our so called beloved mayor Wilson Goode ordered a bombing of the MOVE headquarters at 6221 osage ave that was only to be tear gas to lure the radicals from there headquaters instead the bombing destoyed the row homes on osage ave as well as pine st about 200 people lost there homes and children were murdered those same people that lost there homes were rewared money from the city at the time i was only 7 but i ride past there everynight to go home at the time i lived at 63rd and jefferson and saw the wcau-10 at the time newscast and can see the smoke from 63rd st that goes to show that the Philadelphia Police Department will do what they "so called" need to do destroy un-willfully they had no right to go and destroy the rights of a certain people who decide to have a beleif in what they call life in there eyes im 28 now and the memory still lives 21 ans 1/2 years later!!!IT'S TIME FOR CHANGR!!!
