Yeah, like GMUSDS said, the protesters were met with violence. The cops tried to literally drive through us on their motorcycles, though we had locked arms. Before we made our way onto the lawn there was a decent amount of shoving between the police and the activists, and one young man said he was punched in the face by a cop.
