Not to say we didn't do anything, but there were already people beyond the police line. There were people who looked like they just happened to be in town, and went on with their tours. I also swear i saw some protestors already up there, maybe like three or four. We were met with resistance because we had no permit and because they were attempting(and suceeded in some ways) to make up protest on their terms. Like when we went through the grass instead of going straight up the steps, we bent to their will, which was their purpose, to assert dominance
