i was actually in attendance at the conference, and neither i nor any other people heard drums or bullhorns or any noise at all. i recall looking out the window during lunch and seeing a lone guy with a drum and a flag wandering up and down the street in the cold. the police were all very nice as well. i never heard about any harassing phone calls but that sort of behavior won't get you anything except in trouble, because hotel staff knows who is making trouble and who is paying for hotel rooms and conference space. i assure you, there was no disruption of the conference or of the regular hotel guests at all.
