Re: One M19 Participant's Impressions

this was my first chance at being at a protest, my job and responsabilities as a parent make such things difficult. i have to say it overall was a great day. even though there was a huge media blackout, and it was grossly un-organized, I left feeling like i accomplished something. i feel the main factor was weather that made people not go, or leave early. the biggest problem i saw was that there were many groups, but they were all doing something different. it should be known that when sds was at the recruiter station as mentioned in this article they left to help code pink at the original protest spot, so there wasnt really a large aspect of seperation, just unorganization. i personally left after the funk the war demo and got home at 11pm, i couldnt stay any longer than I did. hopefully i can make it to more in the near future. im not disturbed by the negative aspect of this article, it is real and to the point. also it is an opinion..... the organizers and group leaders can do well to listen to such critisism.
