Immigration & legal residency status is a federal issue. That is why the constitutionality of the anti-immigrant laws being passed in prince william are in question. Giving the state the power to tell landlords who they can rent to, and giving local police a license to racialy profile stinks of facsism. I thought all you rednecks were in to "limited government"? Also, State governments are not "extensions" of the federal government...not yet anyway. This keeps power hungry local officials from being able to assume the full might of the U.S government, and imposing it on their towns or cities.
