Luke, an editor of this website, offers some peculiar legal advice:
"Don't stop for cops, and don't pay jaywalking or cycling tickets! Nothing happens if you refuse to pay, and the last city to try issuing arrest warrants for this — NYC under Guilian — got a storm of national bad press over it."

No matter how you feel about the police, authoritarian enforcement of the law, or whatnot, all of the above—particularly not stopping when clearly called upon to do so by a police officer—are very bad ideas.

So lets say the law says you have to punch all Italian people in the stomach would you follow it then??? When a cop tells you too stop and you are a free human being should you really listen to that? Unless you are going around punching people or shooting people or putting other people in danger then you really don't need the police. The police should be there to keep everyone safe and if you are not harming anyone but yourself then you don't need to bother with police!
