"Anti-zionism" expresses the political opinion that Jews are to remain a subservient, landless people destined to live as a minority people in the lands of others. Impliedly, it expresses a denial that the Jewish people, despite an ancient and distinct culture, are not a "people" at all, and are thus not entitled to self-government in their ancestral homeland. This message of intolerance and prejudice is not acceptable in modern times. Jews are no longer required to cower in shet'ls and mellahs at the mercy of the violent whims of others.
