Doctored photos? Be serious. The small size of the crowd is obvious even from the CNN photos. I was not aware the "event" took place across from the Palestine Hotel. Given that, it's all too obvious what happened. The reporters set up shop to film something as close as possible to the hotel (I was watching at 8am CDT and it was pretty damn tedious) rather than hump all their equipment to somewhere where actual news was happening.
