Nice shot, Chris, but where's all the people? And could someone explain why dancing and partying in the street is more fun than doing the same in the park and not having to worry about the cops doing something stupid? By the way, did the cops do something stupid? Where's the report on what action went down?

The point is that we "reclaim" what is rightfully ours- our community spaces, the roads that we surrender to auto traffic daily, and celebrate our community and our ability to build a different world. No, there wasn't really any "action", just a good time. There was some police presence, but it seems their strategy was basically to allow people to have their good time, and to stand off. No arrests, no confrontations. It was fun. You should come next time.

I didn't see any horseshoes or target practice among the games played in the street. Next time, if you get horse shoes and target practice, I'll surely be there.
