Question: How many times does Dubya refer to "freedom" in his speech while police are dragging any dissenters from the crowd?

What an expensive, hypocrtical farce this event is! While Bush is speaking about liberty and freedom in this country..protestors in the crowd are being arrested for speaking out in protest! This growing force of protest will only increase among all age groups and political parties...President Bush: In your mishandling of your horrible foreign policy...and in the handling of all your affairs both domestic, international, and personal...my question is this: "What would Jesus Do"?!

Do you mean from the inauguration ceremony (at the Capitol) or from the parade route?

I believe that this refers to the noontime inauguration ceremony itself, not the parade.

Speaking out and protest? This website admits that there were people throwing fruit, bending fences, trying to block the motorcade! That isn't dissent. That's just plain ass-clownery

Freedom is just an illusion while their polices' hands are pulling us out of our streets. In Lexington, KY, kids were tazered for marching in the streets. Luckily pictures were taken and we're going to court. Anyone in KY, we need support.

Nice poem thanks... Also lots of love and thanks to attended protest.

The media failed to cover a lot of things. First of all there was an anarchist/anti-authoritarian march at 12:30 starting at Logan Circle which was 1,000 people strong, not exagerating what so ever. The march went peacefully except for a few people throiwng snowballs at cop cars. The cops later boxed everyone in and started swinging there batons and pushing everyone back for arrest. A bunch of marchers used the reinforced banner to push the cops back ane everyone ran. Very few arrests. Then, at the point where some news coverage was, was one of the entrances to the parade route. The guards would not let anyone in that had signs, banners, mohawks, or even looked slightly suspicious of being a non-supporter. That is why people started lifting up the baracades/gates and pushing them in. Cops must have fired 5 gallons of tear gas at us by the time the parade ended. There were only two arrests at this location though, but the riot cops managed to beat the shit out of a few people. It would have gona a lot more peacefully if they had let people into the parade route. Too bad.
