J20-DC Chapter Makes Their 1st Official Appearence!

"We believe the evidence shows that Coca-Cola and its corporate network are rife with immorality, corruption and complicity in murder." Ray Rogers, Director Campaign to Stop Killer Coke/Corporate Campaign, Inc.
On January 20th, the newly formed, D.C. Chapter of the "Stop Killer Coke" Campaign joined tens of thousands of dissenters at the Counter-Inaugural demonstrations. Together with activists from across the country, and donning an evilly-grinning George Bush mask to garner attention, we handed out thousands of fliers, stickers, leaflets, and posters. All in all, we were able to spread the message and gain contacts locally for future efforts. Apart from being photographed by hundreds of protesters and media (and even a few Bush supporters got in line for the inaugural spectacle) alongside our conspicuous Killer Coke signs, and distributing information, we met numerous individuals who had heard of the campaign or were already working on it at various colleges and universities around the country. The words of encouragement we received were priceless; ever reminding us of the compassion and solidarity we progressives truly have, going forward into the latter half of this administration, and in battles for social justice throughout the world.

After reading the info. provided by KillerCoke.org, I have decided to boycott Coke and spread the message to all my friends.
