I attended the VFP national convention and was honored to meet Cindy and the crew or the VFP bus. The whole event was truly one of the more inspiring events of my life. Listening to the stories told by the recently returned Iraq War Vets. I remember when I served we complained of our on misfortunes. This guys and gals were not complaining of their own hardships. They were very focused on the misfortunes of the Iraqi people. I could not help but cry listening to these heroic people that are the same age as my son. I also went down to Crawford on Wed. They are making Cindy stay in the ditch between the road and the barbed wire. It has been raining and the ditch is standing in water. Despite the rain and the heat, Cindy and company had very high spirits. Not only is Cindy bringing national attention to herself but for the first time, money is rolling into the Crawford Peace House. Two guys from the Dallas Peace Center, Johnny and Hadi, bought this house and have been running the Peace house on a hope and a prayer. Members of the Texas peace movement feel this house is very important as a focus point for the Peace movement in Texas. Thank you Cindy and to all my fellow Vets for Peace, You are some of the most incredible people I have ever had the privilege of meeting

I watched this video, it is great, extremely real. Cindy is amazing. If the mainstream sees this video, many of those who are afraid to express opposition to the war will be moved to. Hopefully it will get some more links and some public TV airing. Tell your friends.

This was a very moving video and I hope that people all over will get to see it. Cindy Sheehan, by bringing attention to her plight, has done more towards motivating people to really get involved in the struggle for peace and dignity for our troops and for Iraqi civilians whose lives have become even more endangered and compromised since Bush decided to give them his version of "peace and freedom". Meeting with Bush will not give Cindy Sheehan any comfort because he will NOT tell the truth. It is my hope that the support of those across the country and around the world who have witnessed her example as a loving mom who refuses to go away silently will long be remembered by her. Casey lives on every time his mother takes a step and makes a stand in his name. Thank you to all who are speaking for those of us who hate this war.

Im so sorry for the lost of mrs sheenan!I am a veteran myself served this country for 10yrs.I support the president to eliminate all the terrorist who kills innocent people.they are the enemy who use their own people to kill their own.as u can see these people dont care if they kill their own as long as they can kill americans.the reason for this war is to end terrorism all over the world.what if they start here like what they did in 9/11,who do you ask for to help you.of course the president..if i have the chance to serve this country again i wont hesitate at all.trust your own not others!god bless america!

Cindy Sheehan deserves empathy for her loss. But it was her son who made the sacrafice, not her. It was her son who fought for his country, the same country Cindy Sheehan has said was not worth defending. The same country she accused of being murderous from it very beginings. Obviously Cindy Sheehan and her son wer not of a like mind, and it would only be poroper for her to recognise that she DOES NOT speak for her dead son. Her dead son spoke for himself when he gave his life in Iraq.

I wonder, have you ever lost a child, Bill? While I would never wish such a loss on anyone, I can only say that (speaking as a Veteran and a parent) you should probably walk a mile in someone's shoes before you make such a glib comment. The word of a Gold Star Mother is very strong testimony in my humble opinion. After examining the lack of need for the invasion and occupation of Iraq, I and many of my Veteran friends support Cindy Sheehan in her noble cause. (Respectfully, Barry York)

The United States did not go to Iraq to defend freedomor democracy. They sold you on the idea that The United States does things for those reasons. But if you actually look at what he United States did was neither free or democratic. This is not a football game where you need to root for the home team. As a millitary veteran, I served to defend the constitution against all enimies both foreign and domestic. Remember the oath of office. Nowhere does it state that the untited states is to spread freedom or democracy. That is why it was called defence rather than offence.
