One of the short throws at the recruiter nailed a cop, one landed among the Freepers, and one hit someone's camera. Towels and rags were quickly produced to clean up the collateral damage to the camera, unlike in Iraq where "collateral damage" often consists of irreversable losses like dead children.

Once again, protesters have "gotten on the scoreboard" at a recruiter! This is the third time this particular recruiter has absorbed damage (however slight) at the hands of student protesters.

While the Freepers attracted enough cops to prevent the building from being taken outright, the cops were unable to prevent projectiles from being hurled from the crowd. Although bricks and stones were not used, I'm sure the recruiter did not enjoy being painted either-and this makes the Freeper effort to protect a recruiter from "desecration" a failure.
