Images: Was there a scuffle with Police at 15th and K today?

Uploaded are more screen grabs from a DOT webcam. The images appear to show police encircling protesters and forcing them from the intersection of 15th and K this afternoon.

There was definitely a scuffle.

There was definitely a "scuffle". We'd been blocking several intersections along I and K street, and the cops decided to push us back up into McPherson Square. Basically, they were pushing people into the park and people were resisting. The cops were pretty forceful. They shoved everyone into the park and set up a line along the north side of it. We then exited at the northwest corner where the line kind of tapered off, and continued marching down K street.

That is some seriously intense blue hair.

The incident in the article was different from the incident in the first comment, which was earlier in the day. The second time, the cops got frustrated after the recruiting station was paint bombed again, and pushed everyone off the street and then back to McPherson. They were more aggressive and violent the second time, but nobody was arrested or attacked more seriously than being pushed. Although I heard (credibly) that the cops pushed a man in a wheelchair over. What the fuck.

That's true, you can tell it's raining in the cam, and I definitely took those pictures the first time.

The police started pushing us without warning. I was at the back where the police were and I was only concerned that with the way they were pushing me, I was going to trip. Fortunately I got to the side where an officer had me and another person but this officer did not push me into the person in front.

I think the motivation for the pushing was to prevent us from blocking the intersection at a time that was close to rush hour.
